Our Work CEDAR Himalaya UX Audit
CEDAR Himalaya UX Audit
An experience audit of the CEDAR Himalaya digital presence, focused on trust, navigation clarity and product discovery.
- Type: UX Audit
- Method: Qualitative Research
- Industry: Consumer Goods & FMCG
- Market: India
Background
CEDAR Himalaya is a natural and lifestyle brand where credibility, product storytelling and smooth discovery all influence whether people enquire or buy.
The team needed a structured review of how people find products, interpret brand messaging and move toward purchase or enquiry across desktop and mobile.
Research Objectives
- Identify friction that weakens trust, product understanding and purchase confidence.
- Evaluate homepage, category, product and support journeys against realistic shopper intent.
- Prioritize improvements that strengthen clarity, navigation and conversion readiness.
The Challenge
Natural and lifestyle brands depend on credibility as much as conversion. Unclear hierarchy, weak product storytelling or inconsistent cues can reduce confidence before a decision is made.
The audit needed to surface friction that affected both understanding and willingness to act, then separate quick interface fixes from deeper content and journey work.
Approach
We evaluated homepage, category, product and support journeys using heuristic criteria, content scan patterns and mobile usability checks.
Findings were mapped to user intent stages—discover, understand, compare and convert—so recommendations could be sequenced by impact and effort.
Key Findings
-
01
Product benefits and differentiation were not always visible early enough in the journey.
-
02
Navigation and filtering patterns created avoidable effort when users tried to narrow options.
-
03
Trust and reassurance cues needed stronger placement near decision moments.
Application
The audit gave the team a clear view of where shoppers lose momentum and which fixes should come first.
Priority recommendations focused on stronger product storytelling, clearer navigation and trust cues closer to enquiry and purchase moments.
